How to Use
Men, women, or kids — same Korean size maps differently by gender. For kids, sizing is by height (cm).
Enter your size in any system (Korea, International S/M/L, US, EU, Japan). The others update instantly. A chest-measurement reference is shown as well.
This is a standard mapping. Brands (Zara, H&M, Uniqlo, etc.) commonly differ by ±1 size — also check the brand's official chart.
FAQ
What is the Korean "호수"?
Korean men's tops use chest circumference: 95 호 ≈ chest 90–95 cm, 100 호 ≈ 95–100 cm. Women's tops use 44/55/66/77/88/99 — an averaged height + chest + waist + hip metric, where 88 ≈ US L.
How accurate is the S/M/L mapping?
It varies by brand. Roughly: Korean 90 ≈ S, 95 ≈ M, 100 ≈ L, 105 ≈ XL. SPA brands like Zara and H&M run slimmer than Korean sizing; Uniqlo is similar; US/EU brands generally run larger.
How do women's 44/55/66/77 map to US/EU?
Korean 44 ≈ US 0 / EU 32, 55 ≈ US 2–4 / EU 34–36, 66 ≈ US 6 / EU 36–38, 77 ≈ US 8 / EU 38–40, 88 ≈ US 10 / EU 40–42. Some brands also use intermediate sizes like "55반" (between 55 and 66).
Why are kids sized by cm?
Korean and Japanese kids' clothes use height in cm (100, 110, 120 …). US uses age-based 2T/4/6, EU uses 92/104/116 (also cm). Enter the child's height in cm and all systems convert automatically.
How to measure chest?
Over a thin shirt or in underwear, wrap a tape horizontally just under the armpits over the fullest part of the chest. Breathe normally; don't cinch. Men measure chest only; women should measure chest + waist + hip.
