FAQ

What unit is the Korean shoe size?

Korea and Japan use mm (265 = 26.5 cm). US uses integer + 0.5 (8, 8.5, 9 …), EU uses integers (41, 42, 43 …), UK is about 0.5–1 smaller than US. This tool maps at 5 mm (0.5 cm) intervals.

Why do men/women/kids sizes differ?

US and UK use separate scales by gender — the same 245 mm is men's US 7 but women's US 8 — and kids use a different system (US 1Y, 2Y …). Pick gender first for an accurate conversion.

Why do brands fit differently at the same size?

Brands like Nike, Adidas, and New Balance use different "last" shapes and widths (narrow/medium/wide). This is a standard mapping — check the brand's official size chart for the exact fit.

Tips for buying shoes on Amazon or AliExpress?

(1) Measure foot length in cm/mm → (2) convert using this tool → (3) check the product's "Size Chart" → (4) read reviews for "runs small/large" and adjust ±1. With expensive international returns, all 4 steps matter.

How to measure foot length?

In the evening (when feet are most swollen), place heel against a wall on A4 paper, mark the tip of your longest toe, and measure. Measure both feet — use the larger one + 0.5–1 cm of room. The mm value is exactly your Korean size.
