Does text or image quality degrade?
Keep original colors copies the original pages and preserves text and vectors. Grayscale and black and white render pages as images at 150, 200, or 300 dpi. Text search and selection, links, and form fields are not retained, and file size may increase. Your original stays unchanged.
How do grayscale and black and white differ?
Grayscale removes color while preserving shading. Black and white uses only two colors to clean up scanned backgrounds. A higher threshold darkens faint marks but may include more background noise. Check text and table lines in the first-page preview.
What about pages that are already rotated?
Handled. Whatever you turn is added to the rotation the page already carried, so a scan saved at 90° comes out exactly as you see it on screen.
Can I undo removing a page?
Any time before saving. A page you ✕ does not disappear — it stays dimmed, and clicking again brings it back. It is only really dropped when you save.
Can it handle a lot of pages?
Yes, though generating previews can take a moment on a long document. Past about 200 pages it is quicker to pull out the part you need with PDF Split first.
Do password-protected PDFs work?
Unlock the file first. This tool has no password field.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Previews use PDF.js and saving uses pdf-lib, both entirely in your browser. The file is never transmitted.
